Vice President - National Accounts

Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to grow US revenue through engagement with national accounts, i.e. GPO, IDN, Strategic Accounts and management of Key Account team.

The following challenges await you:
  • Responsible for primary relationships with national accounts (GPO, IDN, Strategic Accounts).
  • Responsible for promotion of full portfolio of products to national accounts (GPO, IDN, Strategic Accounts)
  • Define clear strategic plans for national accounts, defining and setting of objectives for the sales team in conjunction with territory leadership.
  • Lead role in negotiation of agreements with support and guidance from Legal (to include product, pricing and legal).
  • Coordinating activities to effectively set up and execute national agreements (GPO, IDN, Strategic Accounts) with Operations.
  • Active participation of execution of agreements (Communication, Driving growth, Positioning).
  • Develop relationships with existing and new account decision makers to protect and grow market share.
  • Responsible for all aspects of national account communication to field level representatives and senior management.
  • Direct management of the Key Account team members.

Your Profile
  • Master's Degree in a relevant area with a minimum of 5 years successful track record of orthopedic / medical device sales and 3-5 years of National Accounts experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, professionalism, and leadership ability; exhibit a high level of motivation and initiative with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Skills needed: Coaching, Analytical thinker, Project Management, Strategic thinker, Diplomacy and Negotiation skills, ability to work against resistance and make unpopular decisions. International experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in and possess moderate to advanced skills in Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
