We are looking for a Vice President to join our Healthcare Group either in the New York office or the San Francisco office to work on a variety of strategic transactions for industry-leading and emerging players across Life Science Tools and Diagnostics sectors. The ideal candidate will have a background in Life Science Tools and Diagnostics.

We'll trust you to:
  • Perform financial analyses and create models
  • Prepare and create client presentations and marketing materials
  • Interact with client senior executives
  • Manage deal processes
  • Provide guidance to and supervise Associates and Analysts


You'll need to have:
  • At least three years or equivalent of investment banking experience with interest in Life Science Tools and Diagnostics
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and be a team player with a strong motivation to contribute to a positive team culture
  • Top performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise
  • Ability to support, manage, and empower junior bankers
  • Strong client and presentation skills
  • Strong quantitative background and analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $250,000 - $275,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant's years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Base salary is one component of Lazard Financial Advisory's compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
