The Vice President, Investor Relations plays a critical role in shaping how the organisation is understood by the investment community. Acting as the trusted link between the company and its shareholders, you will lead transparent, strategic communication of financial performance and long-term growth, while providing insight into market sentiment to inform executive decision-making. This is a highly visible, commercially impactful role, suited to a strategic thinker who can translate complex information into clear, compelling narratives, build credibility with investors, and strengthen the company's reputation and valuation in the market.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead and execute a high-impact investor relations strategy aligned to business objectives
  • Deliver clear, compelling messaging on performance, strategy, and growth
  • Serve as the trusted interface with investors, analysts, and key stakeholders
  • Lead all investor engagement, including earnings calls, roadshows, and shareholder events
  • Oversee high-quality investor materials and market disclosures
  • Ensure full compliance and transparency across all communications
  • Provide insights on market trends and investor sentiment to inform strategy
  • Partner with the CEO, CFO, and executives to align external messaging
  • Advise leadership on investor expectations and market implications
  • Strengthen relationships with analysts and investors to enhance market confidence


Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years experience in investor relations, capital markets, finance, or corporate communications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling messages and build relationships with investors and analysts.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong background in financial analysis, capital markets, and corporate strategy.
  • Deep understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, market analysis, and investor presentation tools.
  • Familiarity with securities laws, compliance standards, and disclosure regulations
  • Ability to align investor relations strategies with business goals and anticipate market trends and stakeholder concerns.
  • Experience managing teams and cross-functional collaboration with executives, legal, and finance teams.
  • Prior roles in investment banking, equity research, or corporate finance can be highly advantageous.


Additional Information

The annual base salary range for this position is $250,000 - $320,000. This range is a guide and final compensation for this position will be determined based on the candidate's unique skills, expertise, individual qualifications, and assessed contributions to the role following the completion of the interview process.
