Job Description

Based in New York City, this role will have direct institutional sales coverage, with a focus on building and converting North American client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct sales coverage of institutional investors across the US and Canada, with a particular focus on pensions, insurance companies, and consultants
  • Drive capital raising across QIC's Private Market strategies including infrastructure, infrastructure debt, private debt, private equity, and real estate
  • Build and deepen relationships with institutional investors and consultants across North America
  • Execute client and business development activity including meetings, roadshows, conferences, and due diligence processes
  • Partner with global investment and distribution teams on capital campaigns
  • Manage North American client relationships to support retention and long-term growth

  • Highly commercial, with the ability to identify, prioritise and execute on growth opportunities
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including client-facing interactions

About You

You bring 5-10 years' experience in institutional business development or sales within funds management, with a strong track record of originating and converting opportunities with North American institutional investors. Preference will be given to individuals with established relationships across pension funds, insurance companies and/or investment consultants. Experience in private markets, including infrastructure, infrastructure debt, private debt, private equity and/or real estate, will be highly regarded. This role is based in QIC's New York City office.

Salary

The estimated base salary for this position is between $250,000 and $280,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, you will be eligible for a performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
