This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA

This is your chance to be part of a Corporate Human Resources team at a top global hospitality company! As a VP of HR Consulting, you will partner with our business leaders to attract, retain, and develop Hilton's most important asset, our Team Members. On the HR Consulting team reporting to the SVP of HR Consulting, you will lead the HR Consulting team supporting our Commercial Services function. Working directly with the Chief Commercial Officer, as a thought partner and strategic advisor, the VP will lead the planning and execution of strategies relating to organizational design strategy, talent management, team member engagement, workforce planning, process improvement, and change implementation.

What you'll do during a typical day:
  • Align HR strategy and processes with the business' strategic and operating goals.
  • Develop focused talent plans that integrate succession, workforce planning, performance management, and organizational design.
  • Inspire a strong culture of accountability.
  • Lead the HR Consulting team to accelerate organizational capability and deliver high-impact enterprise outcomes.
  • Ensure mandated compliance on all legal and financial requirements as per relevant legislation and Hilton policy; partner with Legal and Finance departments and (where necessary) governmental agencies to respond to information requests as needed.
  • Navigate complex and sensitive people issues in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and HR COEs, ensuring alignment with Hilton values and policies.

How you'll collaborate with others:
  • Coach senior leaders to drive decisions and outcomes that deliver on business priorities and build leadership capability.
  • Advise clients on overall talent strategy to drive retention, engagement, and performance.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Global HR function, including COEs and Regional teams, to ensure optimal internal client service.

Deliverables you'll take ownership of:
  • Craft short- and long-term HR plans and initiatives to drive business strategies and promote a unified company culture.
  • Own annual and point-in-time HR process deliverables for internal clients.
What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:
  • Fifteen (15) years of professional experience working in a global, corporate, matrixed environment.
  • Ten (10) years of progressive HR leadership experience in HR Business Partner, HR Consulting, Talent Management, Organizational Effectiveness, and/or Employee Relations roles, with demonstrated responsibility for advising senior business leaders on complex people matters.
  • Eight plus (8+) years of experience at Director or above level; leading diverse teams.
  • Travel as needed (up to 25%)

It would be useful if you have:
  • Prior experience as lead HR business partner at the chief executive level.
  • Prior experience serving as a strategic HR partner to executive-level leaders in highly operational business environments.
  • Experience translating business, operational, and workforce data into actionable talent strategies and organizational decisions.
  • Broad experience across multiple core HR disciplines, including employee relations, talent management, succession planning, organizational design, and workforce planning.
  • Prior experience in Employee Relations or working closely with employee relations as an HRBP.
  • Prior experience supporting client groups in commercial services, business development, real estate, and/or finance.
  • Broad global understanding of relevant employment legislation.
  • Prior experience that includes a deep understanding of budgets, reconciliation, and forecasting, as well as risk and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing senior leaders and executive stakeholders through trusted relationships, data-driven insights, and clear recommendations that advance business and talent priorities.

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $230,000 - $300,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, and the Company's long-term incentive plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
