Job Description

The Vice President, Global Communications position, within the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Team has global responsibility for Kroll's strategy and execution related to company values; employee and corporate giving; environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives; and other community relations.

This role will report directly to the Global Head of Corporate Communications and has one direct report.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

Strategy & Program Development
  • Develop and execute Kroll's CSR strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
  • Identify opportunities to drive employee pride and purpose through community impact programming
  • Establish annual CSR goals, priorities, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Execute Kroll Cares volunteer and giving programs including annual volunteer campaign, year-round skills-based programming and business-related contributions
  • Lead the development and execution of communications for firmwide CSR programs, including:
    • Annual Impact Report
    • Kroll Cares Month
    • Disaster Relief
    • Employee Network Activations
  • Identify opportunities to amplify CSR achievements and stories internally and externally
  • Manage CSR content on the firm's channels including the Kroll intranet, Kroll.com and social media

Communications
  • Lead the development and execution of communications for firmwide CSR programs, including:

    • Disaster Relief
    • Employee Network Activations

Community Engagement & Partnerships
  • Build and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations
  • Develop strategic partnerships that support company and community objectives.
  • Coordinate charitable giving, sponsorships, grants, and volunteer programs.
  • Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and industry forums.

Reporting & Governance
  • Manage the Kroll Charitable Foundation operations, including budget oversight, grant administration, legal and regulatory compliance, governance support, and the planning, execution, and evaluation of charitable programs and initiatives.
  • Manage employee Matching Gift Program including vendor management, platform maintenance, and employee communications
  • Track and review charitable contribution requests

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, ESG, community relations, nonprofit management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing programs, budgets, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven success in building partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong project and program management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Data analysis and impact measurement expertise.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
