As the VP of Global Acceptance Product & Strategy, you will lead a team responsible for building and scaling solutions that enable payment acceptance for sellers - such as Tap solutions - , working horizontally across product, technology, and go-to-market teams. You will drive product management , craft go-to-market strategies, and foster a culture of innovation and execution in support of Visa's global acceptance vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and evolve the overarching acceptance strategy , identifying and prioritizing new use cases and merchant vertical strategies. Build products and features that address the unique needs of sellers of all sizes (Large and medium enterprises, small, micro, and underserved merchants), accelerating time-to-market across partners and countries.
  • Lead regular performance management cadences, including business reviews and internal communications to drive clarity and accountability.
  • Drive go-to-market and commercialization efforts, working with regional and global sales/account executives to identify, enable, and scale acceptance use cases.
  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional teams (including finance, risk, operations, legal, technology, and strategy) to deliver results, projects, and engagements to completion.
  • Build a strong team culture, ensuring high team performance and satisfaction, and inspire both direct reports and stakeholders across the organization.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD.


Preferred Qualifications
  • 15 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, PhD).
  • 15+ years' progressive experience in eCommerce, payments, financial services, or technology, with at least 7 years in a senior strategy or program leadership role.
  • Strong product acumen; experience partnering with product and technology teams to deliver market-leading solutions.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of players in the payments ecosystem, including fintechs, Big Tech, and traditional payment players
  • Skilled at thought leadership and making data-informed decisions to create new strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills at the executive level.
  • Proven people leader with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale initiatives and driving transformational change.
  • Strategic and analytic skills, with the capability to clearly communicate a vision to clients, executives, and their team, using data and insights to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Business acumen and commercial sense
