What role will you play?

As Legal Vice President, you will support fundraising and fund establishment for the Credit & Insurance business as it grows in the US. You will work primarily on 3(c)(7) funds and separate managed accounts, as well as supporting the platform on its alts-to-wealth offering with registered and unregistered investment companies. The products you will work on will range from traditional closed-ended funds to evergreen funds and more liquid products, as well as structured investment vehicles into our credit platform. Additionally, you will work on general corporate matters, marketing and distribution of our products, and special projects.

Salary range for this position: $260,000 - $300,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.   • 3-7 years' legal experience in the investment management space.
  • Deep experience with launching, maintaining and advising on 3(c)(7) funds, ideally in the private credit sector.
  • Knowledge of the Advisers Act and regulation pertaining to private funds in the US is expected.
  • Experience of more liquid or evergreen products is preferable, as is knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940, US federal securities laws, and the financial services industry in general.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, across multiple teams within a growing organization.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with C-level executives and department heads regularly.
