About the Team & Business Line:

As a core member of our Private Assets team, you will be working with some of the industry's most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

The role involves development and implementation of quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining the highest level of service quality for our private assets clients, while providing tactical solutions to operational challenges

Strategic:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC frameworks aligned with business objectives
  • Establish and maintain quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the department


Tactical Solutions & Implementation:
  • Design and implement practical solutions for operational inefficiencies
  • Create standardized workflows and procedures to address common issues
  • Develop troubleshooting guides and resolution matrices
  • Establish escalation protocols and emergency response procedures
  • Implement real-time monitoring systems for quality control
  • Create automated solutions for routine quality checks
  • Design and maintain quality control checklists and templates


Quality Assurance/Quality Control & Process Enhancement:
  • Review and enhance existing quality standards and procedures
  • Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues
  • Implement preventive measures to minimize errors
  • Develop and maintain quality control documentation
  • Establish quality gates and control points in operational processes
  • Monitor compliance with established protocols
  • Lead quality improvement projects


Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to identify areas for quality improvement
  • Provide regular reporting
  • Lead quality-focused training initiatives


Qualifications

About You:
  • Degree qualified in Accounting and ideally possess an accounting qualification
  • 8+ years of fund accounting experience in either a Private Equity/Assets Fund, Private Equity/Assets Fund Administrator or other financial institution
  • Experience in quality assurance/control within financial services
  • Extensive knowledge of private assets operations and related regulations and accounting standards, including GAAP, IFRS and other comprehensive basis of accounting
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint), experienced user of the FIS Investran accounting platform highly desirable
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop quick, effective solutions to operational challenges
  • Capability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans

Salary Range: CAD $130,000-$165,000
