As a core member of our Fund Accounting team, you will be working with some of the industry's most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
Your Role: You will be responsible for:
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance client relationships by monitoring and developing client service level agreements providing a full service/ product offering
- Review monthly financial statements and reconciliation packages prepared by the staff
- Act as a liaison with the client on matters relating to the preparation of the monthly reporting package
- Leverage existing client relationship to secure new business, offering our products and services
- Work in partnership with the Senior Vice President and Executive Management team to facilitate in presentations to existing and prospective clients
- Liaise internally with key functional teams to ensure awareness of key client requirements
- Visit clients regularly to evaluate service quality and identify client priorities
- Work in partnership with other Vice Presidents, oversee the resolution of complex client issues
- Ensure strong emphasis on escalation and complaints management within the team and within the department
- Manage, train and coach assigned Managers in the successful running of their teams
- Review departmental procedures and policies and supervise Managers to ensure adherence to these procedures
- Lead and initiate client video conference calls
- Liaise with clients regarding reporting requirements and deadlines; ensure delivery in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure continuous risk assessment of current and potential new funds under administration
- Identify issues/concerns and recommend company-wide solutions for any/all high-risk projects
- Ensure fluid execution and strategy for work forecasting and allocation
- Actively manage operational risk - monthly reporting on status reports and key development issues to external clients and executive management team
- Actively participate in departmental and company-wide projects
About You:- You have 10+ years' Experience in financial services industry, particularly with hedge funds and/or investment companies
- You have a University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or professional accounting designation (CGA, CMA, CA, CPA or CFA).
- Extensive supervisory and managerial experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with offshore teams
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Outlook Demonstrated financial reporting/ analytical/organizational skills
- Proven ability to work in a challenging, professional and deadline driven work environment
Salary Range: CAD 115,000 - CAD 155,000
