Vice President, Full Stack Engineer

We9re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full Stack Engineer to join our FX Program Trading Technology team. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA.

Our technology teams are the driving force and the heartbeat of our business. We are looking for a talented and driven Engineer with a proven track record of impactful business transformation through technological innovation.

You will be part of our FX Execution Services Technology Team and will play a key role in building out the next generation of BNYs Foreign Exchange Trading Systems. Working directly with skilled Product Managers, Traders, Sales teams, and fellow technologists, all of whom put the client at the heart of everything they do, you will help build out our FX trading platform covering pricing, execution, algo trading, order routing, and data analytics.

  • Build and deliver scalable, high-performance FX trading solutions
  • Work on a modern technology stack comprising Java/Spring microservices, React/Angular front ends, Kafka/MQ messaging, and distributed data platforms
  • Collaborate within small, cross-functional teams (Product, Traders, Sales, Engineering)
  • Leverage AI-driven development approaches to accelerate engineering productivity
  • Demonstrate strong ownership of system design, code quality, and agile delivery, helping improve best practices
  • Develop both backend services and responsive front-end applications, including real-time UI capabilities
  • Drive continuous improvement, including test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and a strong culture of learning and technical excellence

To be successful in this role, we9re seeking the following:
022; Bachelor9s degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
022; 5 plus years of experience in software development required; experience in the financial services industry, particularly in FX Trading Applications, is highly desirable
022; Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as an integral part of an agile software development team.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
