Full Job Description
Position Summary:
The Vice President, Finance provides strategic financial leadership, risk assessment, and due diligence for Senior Management to drive value and maximize profitability. They provide support in customer negotiations, pricing analysis, and overall sales/marketing support. This requires financial analysis of new products and service lines as well as international business development support. They will partner with the operation leaders of the organization to drive the proper relationship between cost and customer experience.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for customers including pricing support, credit qualification and strategy
  • Optimize our pricing approach by working with Sales and Marketing to appropriately understand our market segmentation and develop pricing strategies relevant to each segment
  • Optimize CRM and lead Pipeline weekly review to ensure efficient progress through Sales Cycle
  • Understanding of Sales productivity and ability to drive a more efficient sales cycle and close rate
  • Ensure Accurate and complete understanding of historical and forward-looking Bookings, Revenue and Cash
  • Provide strategic financial leadership, risk assessment, and due diligence for Sr. Management to drive value and maximize profitability
  • Operational Reporting: Lead the development and distribution of operational financial reports to provide insights into key performance metrics and drive decision-making across the organization.
  • Standardize procurement process and drive increased YOY savings via leverage and scale as the company grows
  • Support IT development of finance-based applications and software implementations
  • Manage Finance support of quality assurance testing of new or enhanced applications
  • Participate in strategic decisions to expand capital expenditures for ERP and other potential software package developments

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or closely related field required
  • 7 + years experience in Public and Privately held companies
  • Strong communications skills - listening, team building, selling, writing and presenting
  • Demonstrated time and organizational management skills
  • Strong results orientation
  • Experience working with highly experienced and educated professional staff
  • Microsoft office skills required
  • Ability to understand, implement, and monitor CPS developed tools
  • Ability to work independently and handle stress appropriately
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, and possess strong time management skills
  • Ability to set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)

Preferred Skills:
  • Master's degree in related field preferred
  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • Experience in education preferred
