  • Fiscal Tracking and Cost Distribution: Provide clear visibility into tech-related expenditures, staffing levels, and third-party investments for senior management and business unit finance teams through a structured allocation methodology.

2. Finance Leadership - News Corp Headquarters and Other Segment
  • Headquarters Finance Direction: Act as the lead financial authority for News Corp HQ and the "other segment," delivering precise financial analysis to define performance narratives while collaborating with corporate controllership and FP&A on reporting.
  • Executive Advisory: Serve as the lead finance partner for Company EVPs and senior management, facilitating strategic financial planning and providing transparent and proactive reporting.

3. Finance Simplification & Digital Fluency
  • Optimizing Global Allocations & Chargebacks: Establish scalable, automated cost-allocation and chargeback frameworks to replace manual spreadsheet-based systems and ensure compliance.
  • Modernizing Financial Systems & Workflows: Assess and upgrade reporting structures and financial systems for HQ and regional branches, prioritizing automation in BI reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advancing Data Transparency & Executive Reporting: Create interactive, self-service reporting platforms and dashboards to offer business leaders and EVPs comprehensive insights into financial performance, global costs, and operational data.
  • Simplifying Methods & Educating Stakeholders: Enhance the clarity of financial reporting and corporate cost allocation strategies for leadership and global business units.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA, CPA, CMA, or CIMA qualification is highly preferred.
  • Experience: 8-10+ years of finance experience, with at least 3-5 years in a FP&A or a "mini CFO"/finance business partner role within a multinational organization.
  • Global Entity Expertise: Proven experience managing financials across multiple international legal entities.
  • Chargeback Models: Demonstrated experience designing and executing complex corporate chargeback, cost-allocation, or transfer pricing models.
  • Digital Fluency: Strong track record of driving finance automation, implementing FP&A software and utilizing BI tools.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with a track record of successfully partnering with, influencing, and challenging C-suite and EVP-level executives.
  • Systems Literacy: Advanced proficiency in financial consolidation tools (e.g.OneStream, Hyperion), ERP systems (e.g.SAP), and advanced Excel.
