Job Description

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, FIG Client Coverage. This role is in New York, NY - Hybrid.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Work with the firm's largest client relationships and respective coverage teams to progress commercial efforts.
  • Conduct analyses and develop insights that help support decision-making through delivering concrete outcomes and communicating progress to senior leadership.
  • Independently own workstreams end-to-end; lead the strategy, design the process, and drive the execution of enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Cultivate and leverage a strong network across the BNY enterprise.
  • Communicate effectively with key business partners and senior stakeholders. Develop and deliver both informational and decision-seeking reports, analyses and/or presentations.


To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 5-8 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills with the ability to produce professional output in different formats; strong writing ability and an eye for detail are a must.
  • Ability to grow within the role - develop stronger leadership and influencing skills, recognized collaborator by colleagues and clients.
  • Effective team member with the willingness and eagerness to tackle new challenges and work across numerous workstreams.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure with a track record of delivering against deadlines.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), dependent on the position offered.
