Job Description

The Vice President, Integrated Investment is a senior leader responsible for overseeing a large financial services client account, ensuring they deliver against business objectives while driving exceptional media, financial, and client outcomes. This role partners closely with executive leadership to help shape the Investment practice, guide strategic direction across channels, and develop high-performing teams. The VP serves as a trusted advisor to clients, a mentor to senior team members, and a key contributor to agency growth and innovation.

Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Strategic Partnership
  • Act as a senior strategic advisor to clients, providing thought leadership, addressing business challenges, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction and retention.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with client stakeholders and key vendor partners.
  • Shape portfolio-level investment strategies that align with broader business and marketing objectives.
  • Lead strategic discussions around media investment, growth opportunities, innovation, and performance optimization.
  • Articulate the value of Investment, media strategy, and agency capabilities to clients and internal stakeholders.


Investment Strategy & Innovation
  • Define cross-channel go-to-market investment strategies that drive business growth and client success.
  • Establish and oversee robust test-and-learn frameworks to continuously refine media effectiveness and investment performance.
  • Stay at the forefront of media, technology, data, and platform innovation to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Identify and capitalize on high-value growth opportunities through emerging platforms, technologies, partnerships, and media products.
  • Guide the strategic direction of client portfolios to ensure sustained growth, operational excellence, and performance improvement.


Financial Stewardship
  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and profitability.
  • Ensure accounts meet financial targets while identifying opportunities to expand scope and drive organic growth.
  • Contribute to new business efforts, including pitches, growth initiatives, and agency revenue expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain accountability for the financial success and overall performance of client portfolios.


Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • Lead, inspire, retain, and develop high-performing Investment teams.
  • Coach and mentor Directors and Associate Directors, helping build future leadership capabilities and succession plans.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Recognize and celebrate team achievements while elevating standards for performance and client service.
  • Drive talentdevelopment initiatives, resource planning, and organizational effectiveness across the practice.


Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with Strategy, Analytics, Operations, Social, Search, Programmatic, and broader agency teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure media strategies align with broader client business objectives.
  • Contribute to department-wide initiatives focused on process improvement, operational excellence, and practice growth.
  • Drive the adoption of standardized ways of working, best practices, and scalable operating models.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of performance media, digital investment, media planning, buying, or related agency/client-side experience.
  • 7+ years of demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Extensive experience managing large-scale media investments and client portfolios.
  • Experience with Prisma and DCM/CM360 preferred
  • Deep understanding of digital media channels, buying platforms, investment strategies, and evolving marketplace trends.
  • Strong business, financial, and commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead complex cross-functional initiatives.

Compensation Range: USD $149,340.00 - USD $195,000.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
