Full Job Description
Position Summary

The Vice President, Market Data, Analytics & Insights is a high-impact role responsible for shaping and leading a best-in-class analytics capability that drives commercial performance and informs enterprise decision-making. This leader will transform analytics from a reporting function into a strategic engine-delivering predictive insights, enhancing market understanding, and enabling data-driven growth across the organization. The role sits at the center of Commercial, Market Access, Patient Services, Medical Affairs, and Finance, serving as a trusted advisor to leadership and a critical enablerof performance.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Analytics & Performance
• Lead all analytics supporting Sales, Medical (where appropriate), Marketing, Market Access,
Patient Services, and Executive Leadership
• Lead the development, alignment and maintenance of relevant and actionable KPI
frameworks, dashboards, and performance management systems to optimize commercial
excellence
• Deliver actionable insights that identify growth opportunities, risks, and priorities
• Partner with Commercial leadership to optimize targeting, segmentation, and resource
allocation

Data Strategy & Management
• Own enterprise commercial data strategy (acquisition, integration, governance, and quality)
• Maximize value of specialty pharmacy, claims, EMR, payer, provider, and patient-level data
• Identify and deploy new data sources and analytical tools
• Expertly manage external MSP and internal stakeholders to scalable, accurate and reliable
operations of the customer data infrastructure

Forecasting & Strategic Planning
• Lead forecasting for marketed products and pipeline assets
• Develop cross functional, integrated forecasting and strategic planning process to ensure
timely delivery of well aligned projections
• Design, build and leverage appropriate models (patient, epidemiological or market based) to
guide supply chain, financial planning, solve business questions and drive insights
• Support annual planning, long-range planning, and business reviews
• Deliver scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to guide key decisions
• Partner with Finance to align forecasts and assumptions

Market Intelligence & Competitive Insights
• Build and lead a market intelligence capability
• Track competitive landscape, clinical developments, and reimbursement trends
• Translate insights into clear, actionable strategy recommendations
• Support market analysis at all levels within the organization (e.g. forecasting, brand, executive, board, investor-facing, etc)

Customer & Market Insights
• Lead primary and secondary market research
• Generate insights across providers, patients, payers, and stakeholders
• Identify unmet needs and evolving treatment dynamics
• Partner cross-functionally to translate insights into action

Pipeline & Launch Support
• Support commercialization planning for pipeline assets
• Lead market sizing, patient flow, and launch readiness efforts
• Inform development strategy through market insights
• Support BD diligence and commercial evaluations

Analytics Transformation & Innovation
• Build a culture of data-driven decision-making
• Elevate analytics to a strategic, forward-looking capability
• Automate reporting and enhance organizational efficiency
• Drive adoption of advanced analytics, AI, and predictive modeling

Leadership
• Build, scale, and lead a high-performing analytics organization
• Set clear priorities, expectations, and development plans
• Drive cross-functional alignment and collaboration
• Serve as a core member of the Commercial Leadership Team
• Set and manage appropriate budget to meet objectives

Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS, MPH, PharmD or
equivalent)
• 15+ years of experience in biopharma, healthcare, consulting, or analytics
• Proven leadership in commercial analytics, forecasting, or insights functions
• Deep understanding of pharma data sources, patient journeys, and market dynamics
• Proven ability to integrate data and generate insights from products distributed through hubs,
specialty pharmacies, and specialty distributors
• Successful experience supporting specialty and/or oncology product launches
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive enterprise decisions

Preferred
• Experience supporting both commercial-stage and pipeline assets
• Track record building or scaling analytics capabilities in a growth-stage biotech
• Experience with advanced analytics, AI, and predictive modeling
• Oncology and/or rare disease experience

The base salary range ($315,000 - $375,000) provided reflects our current estimate of what we anticipate paying for this position. Your actual base salary will be based on several factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, relevant education or training, location, and market dynamics. In addition, you will be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and a competitive benefits package.
