Full Job Description

The Managing Director, CSD Business Operations, is responsible for leading the strategic and operational functions that enable business performance, scalable growth, customer excellence, and enterprise execution across CuraScript Specialty Distribution (CSD).

Reporting to the President of CSD, this role provides leadership across a broad portfolio of business operations capabilities, including pricing administration, data governance, contract administration, customer onboarding, business analytics, and operational governance. The Managing Director will establish scalable operating models, optimize business processes, leverage data-driven insights, and ensure effective governance across the end-to-end customer and business lifecycle while maintaining the integrity of critical pricing, customer, product, and contractual data that supports business performance and growth.

The ideal candidate is an enterprise-minded leader who can operate strategically while driving disciplined execution across a complex, highly regulated healthcare distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Leadership

  • Partner with the President and executive leadership team to develop and execute strategic priorities that support organizational growth and long-term business objectives.
  • Translate enterprise and business strategies into actionable operational plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness, scalability, and competitive positioning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on business performance, operational risks, and strategic opportunities.

Operational Excellence & Governance

  • Establish and oversee business operating frameworks, governance models, and performance management practices that drive consistency, accountability, and execution.
  • Lead enterprise-level initiatives focused on process optimization, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure alignment of resources, priorities, and capabilities to support business objectives and customer commitments.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.

Pricing & Data Management

  • Provide executive leadership for pricing administration, master data management, contract administration, and data governance functions that support business growth, operational excellence, and customer success.
  • Establish and oversee governance frameworks, operating standards, and controls to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and stewardship of customer, product, supplier, pricing, and contractual data across the organization.
  • Lead the development of scalable processes and capabilities that support pricing execution, customer lifecycle management, revenue enablement, and enterprise decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and operational efficiencies across pricing and data management functions to enhance business performance, customer experience, and organizational scalability.

Business Performance & Analytics

  • Lead the development and utilization of business insights, performance metrics, and reporting to support informed decision-making.
  • Monitor organizational performance and identify opportunities to improve operational, financial, and customer outcomes.
  • Drive data-informed strategies that enhance business effectiveness and support growth objectives.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and insights to internal stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution

  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that require coordination across multiple business areas and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, distribution, operations, business management, or related industries.
  • 7+ years leading managers and senior leaders across multiple functional areas.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale operational, commercial, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Experience leading cross-functional organizations and influencing executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within specialty pharmacy, healthcare distribution, health services, or highly regulated environments.
  • Strong expertise in pricing administration, master data management, customer onboarding, contract administration, and data governance within a complex operational environment.
  • Experience leading customer, product, supplier, pricing, and contract master data functions, including governance, quality management, and process standardization.
  • Strong understanding of the systems, controls, and data structures supporting specialty pharmaceutical distribution, pricing execution, and revenue management.
  • Experience building scalable data governance, reporting, and analytics capabilities that support business growth and operational excellence.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 203,600 - 339,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
