Overview

Influential is seeking a seasoned department leader to manage our Creator Management team and oversee creator casting, negotiation, contracting, and content creation across various verticals. This role involves leading a high-performing team of Creator Managers responsible for end-to-end campaign execution inclusive of creator discovery, negotiation, contracting, content development and creation, and post-tracking. Additionally, the candidate will act as a liaison between the Creator Management team and other key internal groups, including Client Management, Creative, Performance Media, and Strategic Partnerships, ensuring seamless collaboration and success across campaigns and partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Creator Management team, providing guidance on campaign strategy, execution best practices, negotiation tactics, and creator relationships.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of creator campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to brand guidelines, and achievement of campaign objectives, from initial discovery through post-tracking.
  • Act as the primary liaison, coordinating with Client Management, Creative, Performance Media, and Strategic Partnerships teams to ensure seamless collaboration and cross-functional alignment on campaign needs and deliverables.
  • Manage creator casting, negotiation of fees, and contracting process, leveraging an extensive network of industry contacts (creators, managers, agents) to secure optimal partnerships.
  • Develop, implement, and refine processes and organizational structures for the Creator Management department, particularly within a startup environment.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using online tracking and brand measurement tools, providing insights and ensuring the team integrates data-driven feedback into future strategy.
  • Stay current on the latest trends, innovations, and best practices across all major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube) to inform campaign strategy.
  • Maintain meticulous records of creator partnerships, contracts, content schedules, and campaign materials.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience which includes direct experience executing creator campaigns.
  • Must have experience managing a high-performing team including leading and developing team members.
  • Experience managing and coordinating projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive network of industry contacts including Influencers, managers, agents, etc.
  • Knowledgeable of all major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube).
  • Up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in the social realm.
  • Proven track record leading and mentoring a dynamic team of Creator Managers to ensure they strategize pre-sale planning and effectively execute campaigns.
  • A passion and understanding for working closely with creators, agents, and managers.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, detail-oriented with attention to schedules and timelines, and maintenance of records and materials.
  • Working knowledge of online performance tracking and brand measurement tools.
  • A self-starter who loves collaboration and is open to feedback, comfortable working independently and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment, creating organization and processes where none may already exist.
  • Knowledge of offline and online space; strong understanding of brand, media, and consumer relationships.
  • Ability to hit the ground running, understand and learn the way we execute campaigns to make an immediate impact.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation Range: USD $ - . This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
