The Vice President, Chief Supply Chain Officer provides executive leadership over all supply chain operations for St. Luke's Health System. The role is responsible for developing and executing the systemwide supply chain vision and strategy; managing procurement, sourcing, logistics, and inventory; building evidence-based, value-focused decision-making across clinical and administrative groups; and ensuring a high-performing, efficient, and clinically integrated supply chain. The position reports to the Senior Vice President/CFO and serves as the primary representative for all supply chain matters.

What You Can Expect:

• Provides strategic vision and executive oversight for the development and execution of a comprehensive, systemwide supply chain strategy that aligns with St. Luke's long-term goals, operational objectives, financial targets, and clinical excellence priorities.
• Ensures the supply chain function anticipates future organizational needs and industry shifts.
• Leads and directs all aspects of supply chain infrastructure, including the consolidated service center, procurement, sourcing, contracting, logistics, and inventory management.
• Establishes an integrated operating model that optimizes service delivery, mitigates risk, and strengthens system resiliency.
• Designs and implements robust operational structures, systems, workflows, and supplier partnerships that support high performing, reliable, and scalable day to day supply chain operations.
• Ensures operational continuity, redundancy, and responsiveness during routine activity and periods of disruption.
• Develops, approves, and enforces systemwide supply chain standards, policies, and governance frameworks that enhance operational efficiency, improve patient safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and enforce contract adherence across the enterprise.
• Builds strong, trusted relationships with physicians, nurses, clinicians, and administrative leaders to advance shared operational and clinical objectives.
• Facilitates collaborative engagement in contract negotiations, product formulary decisions, capital planning, clinical technology assessments, and value analysis processes.
• Ensures supply chain operations are fully integrated with clinical workflows, securing the availability of the right products, at the right time, at the right cost.
• Partners with clinical and operational leaders to reduce variation, enhance reliability, and improve patient outcomes.
• Champions a culture of value-based decision making by promoting evidence driven product selection, cost transparency, clinical alignment, and utilization management. Drives initiatives that reduce unwarranted variation and advance standardization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration or related field. Master's preferred.
• 10 years of relevant experience.
