The Role

The Vice President, Brand & Corporate Marketing Communications is a senior leadership role accountable for building enterprise awareness, strengthening reputation, and elevating the Alight brand globally. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role defines how Alight is perceived externally by clients, prospects, investors, analysts, and media-and internally by colleagues across the organization.

You will lead corporate brand, reputation management, public relations, investor relations communications, internal communications, and social media governance. This role ensures Alight's enterprise narrative is clear, credible, and consistently delivered across earned, owned, shared, and internal channels, reinforcing Alight's position as a trusted market leader.

Responsibilities

Corporate Brand & Reputation
  • Own and evolve Alight's enterprise corporate brand strategy, including positioning, messaging architecture, brand identity, and brand governance.
  • Lead reputation management efforts to strengthen trust with external stakeholders and employees.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand standards across all corporate communications and channels.
  • Lead evolution of the brand, and brand modernization efforts.


Public Relations & Investor Relations Communications
  • Oversee Public Relations and Investor Relations communications strategy and execution.
  • Drive proactive media engagement, executive thought leadership, and issues management.
  • Partner closely with Legal, Finance, and executive leadership on earnings-related communications and market-facing narratives.
  • Lead crisis communications and reputation risk management.


Internal Communications
  • Lead internal communications strategy to drive employee engagement, alignment, and understanding of Alight's strategy and priorities.
  • Oversee executive communications, enterprise announcements, and internal channels.


Social Media & Owned Awareness Channels
  • Maintain enterprise accountability for social media strategy, approval, governance, and publishing.
  • Ensure social media content supports awareness, brand credibility, and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee owned awareness initiatives, including podcasts and similar platforms, from concept through execution and performance measurement.


Leadership & Agency Management
  • Lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams across brand, PR, IR communications, internal communications, and social media.
  • Manage external agencies and partners, ensuring performance, ROI, and alignment with Alight's brand and business goals.
  • Establish clear goals, KPIs, and operating rhythms for teams and partners.


Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Define and track awareness, reputation, and brand health metrics.
  • Use insights to optimize strategies and continuously improve impact.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing, corporate communications, or brand leadership roles.
  • 7+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Extensive experience leading enterprise brand, corporate marketing, or communications functions.
  • Proven success managing people, agencies, and complex, high-visibility initiatives.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Virtual-first environment with collaboration across global teams.
  • Highly visible role with regular interaction with executive leadership.
  • Occasional travel for leadership meetings, media engagements, and company events.


Preferred Requirements
  • Master's degree or equivalent advanced experience.
  • Experience in B2B, professional services, technology, or regulated industries.
  • Direct experience partnering with investor relations and executive leadership teams.
  • Experience leading communications during periods of transformation or growth.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :
210,000.00 USD
Maximum :
225,000.00 USD
