Job Duties: Support adherence to investment guidelines and portfolio constraints by monitoring investment activity and assisting with the implementation of controls throughout the trade lifecycle, including pretrade and post-trade reviews. Analyze guideline exceptions and partner with Portfolio Management Group (PMG), Legal & Compliance (L&C), Risk and Quantitative Analysis (RQA), and other stakeholders to facilitate timely resolution and mitigate portfolio risks. Identify coding issues, account coding, and oversee coding reviews. Provide demonstrations and overviews of investment guideline monitoring tools, portfolio controls, and the firm's risk management framework.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Economics, or related field, and 48 months of experience in the job offered, or closely related role. Must have four (4) years of experience with: • Implement and monitor regulatory investment requirements and guidelines; • Utilize SQL and Python to analyze backend data and support compliance violation exception review; • Clear commentary and documentation around compliance blocks to determine need for resolution; • Identify and enforce required controls through analysis and coordination with relevant stakeholders; • Pre-trade and post trade violation investigations; • Comprehensive documentation for compliance processes and procedures; • Aladdin including Dashboard, PfC, GP, ADAM, and Compliance Workbench; • Visualization tools including Excel and PowerPoint; • Knowledge of financial instruments and markets; And two (2) years of experience with: • Power BI.

For San Francisco, CA Only the salary range for this position is USD$145,000.00 - USD$173,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
