Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in live-action visual effects on major feature films, specifically as a Senior VFX Supervisor
• Experience leading and mentoring large teams on extensive projects
• Proactive problem solver with strong creativity and appreciation for aesthetics
• Broad knowledge of technologies including 2D and 3D software
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an understanding of client dynamics
• Well-versed in the technical and artistic dimensions of live-action and visual effects
• Experience with 3ds Max is preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on enhancing the Director’s vision for the production
• Translate creative visions into actionable art and technical direction
• Guide the team to develop creative responses to feedback
• Establish overall technical direction and leadership for visual effects
• Estimate resource needs, budgets, schedules, and performance standards
• Ensure timely and on-budget delivery of high-quality effects work
• Monitor project progress and direct staff involvement in plate shoots
• Supervise various digital effects disciplines and approve pre-Director review work
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to senior direct reports
• Engage in developing company-wide standards to maintain competitive edge
