VCA Veterinary Referral and EmergencyCenter is seeking an experienced
Credentialed Veterinary Technician Supervisor for our busy and growing 24 hour emergency department. We are a fast paced, AAHA-accredited, 24 hour emergency and specialty hospital located in Norwalk, CT.
Veterinary Technician Supervisor Responsibilities:- Full Technician Skill Utilization
- Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
- Coaching associates based on need to aid in their success
- Some regional travel required
- Facilitate communication of ideas, policies, standards and performance
- Provide feedback related to associate performance, and collaborate with leadership to develop performance improvement plans
- Support associates in their career via VTNE guidance, licensure guidance, and scheduling
- Maintain skill efficiency and knowledge
Potential Schedule: M - F - some weekends
Compensation: $38 - $45 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status.
