Associate Veterinarian - Laurel Pet Hospital - West Hollywood, CA
Small Animal GP

Hospital Hours:
Monday-Friday: 8 AM - 6:30 PM
Saturday: 8 AM - 6 PM
Sunday: 9 AM - 2 PM

Ideally looking for someone who can support weekends. Part-time or full-time opportunity.

If you're part-time (1-2 days per week), you are still eligible for benefits, including PTO, 401(k), sign-on bonus, CE allowance and CE days, production %, reimbursement of state license, AVMA, CVMA, PLIT, VIN, VetGirl, and Plumb's and more.

Day in the Life
  • 4 exam rooms
  • Monday-Saturday: typically 4 doctors per day (3 in rooms, 1 in surgery/dentals/procedures)
  • Sunday: Currently 2 doctors; looking to add another
  • Typical weekday schedule:
    • 8:00 AM first appointments until ~11:30 AM
    • 2-hour break
    • Resume at 1:30 PM-4:30 PM
    • Final appointments from ~5:00-5:30 PM
    • Doctors wrap up around 6:00 PM; support staff until 6:30 PM
  • 1-2 technicians per doctor (one dedicated to appointments, one for overflow)
  • Highly utilized support staff: RVTs and assistants work at the top of their licenses, supporting appointments, treatments, surgery, dentals, and estimates-allowing doctors to focus on medicine efficiently
  • Strong support for dentals and procedures (7 doctors perform dentals; 6 perform surgery). Open to candidates who do or do not want to perform these
  • A mix of wellness, procedures, dentistry, surgery, and urgent care

  • Spacious upstairs break room away from the floor-a great place to disconnect
  • Located near many restaurants and shops-perfect for a walk or lunch break
  • Team culture includes occasional pizza orders and treats brought in by doctors
  • Full in-house IDEXX labs and diagnostics with send-out capabilities
  • In-house and online pharmacy

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) with a California license (or eligibility) who is a positive team player, committed to client education and high-quality medicine, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Schedule

We have a strong interest in this hospital and a great client base. We're currently expanding weekend coverage.
  • 3-4 doctors typically work Saturdays
  • 2 doctors currently work on Sundays
