About the Team: The Global Business Solutions (GBS) ad sales team works with some of the largest Fortune 100 organizations across all categories. They are responsible for enabling advertising on the platform and connecting users with brands. About the Role: The Vertical Director is the business leader responsible for driving revenue strategy and business growth for TikTok's Food, Beverage, and Alcohol advertising portfolio, across both Enterprise and Small Business Accounts. This role leads go-to-market strategy, manages a team of Sales Leaders, and is accountable for achieving revenue and product goals. The Vertical Director identifies business priorities, allocates resources strategically, and drives scalable growth across the vertical. Responsibilities: - Develop and execute the strategy to achieve revenue targets - Build deep product expertise to identify enhancements that unlock growth - Champion a customer-first, consultative sales approach - Provide strategic leadership and coaching to deliver on ambitions - Stay ahead of industry trends and customer opportunities within the vertical - Lead and develop a national sales organization of people managers and individual contributors
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - 15+ years of experience in digital advertising, ad sales, or brand marketing - 5+ years of experience managing large sales teams - The role is based in New York (NY), and the candidate must be willing to travel across the country to meet the demands of the business Preferred Qualifications: - Strong knowledge of the Food, Beverage, and Alcohol industry - Expertise in technology, media, and entertainment platforms - Experience managing people managers of varying experience - Strong Knowledge of the client and agency ecosystem - Turns data into actionable insights that drive scalable solutions - Ability to foster C-Level executive relationships and to recruit/retain top talent - A proven penchant for creative problem-solving, high-level negotiation, and exceeding sales targets

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $148572 - $275200 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
