Full Job Description
Summary:

The Vendor Solutions Project Manager serves as a key member of the project management team, proactively sourcing, evaluating, and managing vendor partnerships for Alliance Clinical Network. They ensure vendor alignment with business development needs, facilitate smooth study startup, and foster long-term vendor relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source new vendors, physician practices, and partnerships to enhance network capabilities.
  • Collaborate with project management, business development, and other Alliance stakeholders during feasibility and study start-up to identify vendor gaps or barriers.
  • Evaluate and onboard vendors for clinical trials, ensuring they meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Facilitate vendor contract negotiations in collaboration with the Contracts Department, especially for physician-related agreements.
  • Manage vendor relationships throughout the study lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and issue resolution.
  • Monitor vendor performance using scorecards and metrics; proactively replace underperforming or overpriced vendors as needed.
  • Support the project management team by ensuring vendor readiness aligns with study startup timelines.
  • Maintain continuous Alliance concierge-level support for vendors and stakeholders throughout the study.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in health sciences or clinical research related field (advanced degree and/or PMP certification preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in vendor management, clinical trial operations, or project management.
  • Analytical skills to assess vendor performance and risk.
  • Ability to balance both proactive sourcing and reactive vendor management.
  • Strong working knowledge of clinical trial operations, ICH-GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple studies and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including sponsor-facing communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and study-tracking documentation.
  • Ability to interpret protocols, regulations, and operational requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.


Travel Required:

  • Occasional travel to clinical sites, vendor locations, and industry conferences as needed.
