Job Description:Job DescriptionReporting to the Senior Manager, Vendor Management, the Vendor Manager III is responsible for managing a portfolio of third-party suppliers and supporting Business Segment stakeholders in executing effective vendor management and risk governance practices across the full vendor lifecycle.
This role requires a strong understanding ofthird-party risk management frameworks, contract governance, and audit readiness
, as well as the ability to partner closely with Line of Business (LOB) stakeholders, Procurement, Legal, Risk, and Audit teams.
The successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Bank's vendor management practices by ensuring consistent execution, strong governance, and effective risk mitigation across vendor relationships.
This role will support TD's ATM & Cash Services lines of business.
Accountabilities1. Third Party Risk Management & Governance- Execute third-party risk management activities across the lifecycle, including due diligence, risk assessments, ongoing monitoring, and issue remediation
- Ensure vendor compliance with TD policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory expectations (e.g., operational risk, information security, privacy, business continuity)
- Identify and escalate control gaps, emerging risks, and compliance issues, and drive timely resolution in partnership with stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation and evidence to support governance, control testing, and audit activities
2. Line of Business (LOB) Support- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and trusted advisor to LOB stakeholders and contract owners on vendor management practices and TPRM requirements
- Support LOBs in managing vendor portfolios, including onboarding, ongoing governance and performance monitoring.
- Provide guidance on vendor-related risks, governance expectations, and policy adherence
- Enable consistent execution of vendor management processes across business segments
3. Contract Management & Negotiation Support- Support contract lifecycle activities including negotiation, renewal, amendment, and termination of vendor agreements
- Partner with Procurement and Legal to ensure contracts include appropriate risk protections, service levels, audit rights, and regulatory clauses
- Monitor vendor compliance with contractual obligations, including SLAs, reporting requirements, attestations, and financial terms
- Identify opportunities to optimize vendor costs, contract structures, and service outcomes
4. Audit, Compliance & Regulatory Readiness- Support internal and external audit activities, includingevidence gathering, documentation, and response coordination
- Ensure timely remediation of audit findings, control deficiencies, and compliance issues related to third-party engagements
- Prepare and maintain governance artefacts, including risk assessments, attestations, and control documentation
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and regulatory expectations
5. Reporting, Controls & Continuous Improvement- Monitor vendor performance against KPIs, KRIs, and service levels, and escalate issues as required
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and insights for stakeholders and senior management
- Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to strengthen vendor governance, controls, and processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of third party risk and vendor management frameworks, tools, and methodologies
QualificationsRequired- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Law, Risk Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management, third-party risk management, procurement, or supplier governance
- Strong knowledge of third-party risk frameworks, contract governance, and control environments
- Experience supporting audit, regulatory, or compliance activities
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders (LOBs, Procurement, Legal, Risk, Audit)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred- Experience within a Canadian financial institution
- Vendor management or business experience related to ATM and Cash Service portfolios will be a plus
- Experience with vendor management systems and reporting tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, etc.)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, procurement or risk certifications)
