Location: Indianapolis, IN
Work Arrangement: Full-time onsite. No remote or hybrid options available.
ResponsibilitiesAs a VDC Manager, you will lead VDC activities across multiple construction projects while managing and developing VDC personnel. You will establish standards, oversee digital coordination, support project teams, and ensure VDC technology improves project delivery from planning through field execution.
- Lead VDC delivery and coordination across multiple complex construction projects.
- Develop and maintain VDC standards, BIM execution plans, templates, and quality-control practices.
- Oversee model setup, multidisciplinary coordination, constructability analysis, and clash resolution.
- Collaborate with Operations, Preconstruction, Estimating, design professionals, trade partners, and project teams.
- Connect VDC processes to procurement, prefabrication, layout, logistics, field installation, and closeout.
- Review models and digital documents for accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
- Lead, coach, and develop VDC team members while balancing workloads and project coverage.
- Evaluate and implement VDC technology, workflows, automation, and field technology to improve project delivery.
- Resolve escalated BIM and design-coordination issues and support project teams through site visits.
- Communicate VDC risks, technology needs, and coordination concerns to operational leadership.

What it takes- Minimum of 9 years of experience in BIM, VDC, construction coordination, or related construction experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or managing VDC personnel and supporting multiple construction projects.
- Expert with the use of Navisworks.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, Bluebeam, and SketchUp.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, procedures, sequencing, and model coordination.
- Experience with BIM execution planning, constructability, clash detection, and digital project delivery.
- Relevant experience with drafting, drone technology, reality capture, and construction technology.
