Job Function: - Either 5 days full time or 4 days of 32hrs with prorated pay.
- Exclusively Outpatient, M-F days, no night, weekend or holiday call.
- Evaluate new office referrals, patient follow-up, order appropriate diagnostic studies
- Prepare for angiography and surgical procedures and care for post-operative patients.
- Wound management, including surgical wounds, minor debridement, and the prudent use of antibiotics.
- The candidate can also be trained in minor procedures, like venous catheter removal.
- Knowledge and experience with arterial and venous disease, including carotid stenosis and stroke, aortic aneurysms, claudication, ischemic ulcers, varicose veins, and venous ulcers.
- Skill and experience in sclerotherapy is desirable.
- Familiarity or willingness to learn the basics of non-invasive vascular testing.
Job Requirements:Job Requirement: - 1+ year of APP exp. and in Vascular Surgery or similar skill set
- Will consider strong new grad that has extensive Vascular Surgery nursing experience
- Active RI license required.
