Full -time Orthopedic Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner
The Orthopedic Surgery Service at Sharon Hospital, proudly joining Northwell, is seeking to add a board-certified full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its team. The position will be primarily outpatient with some inpatient coverage to support Ortho (primary), General Surgery and Urology.
Qualifications
• The qualified candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and be NCCPA certified as well as possess strong surgical and patient management experience.
• Candidates with at least one to three years of surgical experience and/or surgical residency trained candidates preferred, but new graduates will be considered as will new nurse practitioners with RNF certification and surgical experience.

Sharon Hospital has 78 general hospital beds and provides a full range of services including: cardiology, cardiopulmonary, emergency care, imaging, intensive care, neurosciences, orthopedics, pain management, stroke care, surgical, women's services and wound care.
