Description

Xeneta LLC seeks Value Consulting Team Lead in Jersey City, NJ to support new and existing business acquisition and expansion by partnering with commercial teams to develop and present tailored value solutions and ROI business cases that demonstrate measurable customer value, influence pipeline planning, and help reduce sales cycles through strategic insight and industry expertise.

Job duties
  • Support new and existing business acquisition and expansion by partnering with commercial teams to develop and present tailored value solutions and ROI business cases that demonstrate measurable customer value, influence pipeline planning, and help reduce sales cycles through strategic insight and industry expertise.
  • Process and analyze shipper freight data, integrating it into Xeneta's market intelligence platform, and present findings to prospective customers-leveraging deep expertise in international ocean and air freight, transportation procurement, and negotiation strategies.
  • Provide strategic direction for the team while monitoring and scaling day-to-day operations, including mentoring junior staff to strengthen overall team capability.
  • Lead strategic value consulting initiatives by researching and designing new methodologies for value quantification in close collaboration with sales, product, and data teams.


Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field or foreign equivalent, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a pre-sales, sales analysis, or business analysis role in a SaaS environment.

Such experience must include:
(1) Applying advanced Excel functions (e.g., Power Query, macros, lookup functions) and developing dashboards using Power BI or similar BI tools;
(2) Using Salesforce for case or deal management workflows;
(3) Working with international supply chain, freight, or transportation procurement processes; and
(4) serving in a managerial or team lead capacity.
