CenterWell in The Villages, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is looking for a primary care physician for our Creekside clinic in The Villages, FL. You will have the opportunity take a hands-on approach, addressing patient needs inside the exam room and look beyond to understand how social determinants of health are affecting health outcomes. We have a unique care model that sets us apart for patients and providers. We are experts in senior-focused primary care with a versatile approach.
As a Primary Care Physician, you will report to our Associate Medical Director. This role will be onsite and in-person at the Creekside Clinic in The Villages, FL.
As the Primary Care Physician you will focus on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. You will keep a medical history and medical records. Refer patients to specialists. Influence clinic department's strategy. You will make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues. You will have considerable latitude in determining best approaches to assignments.

3 Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm3 See 12-14 patients per day. Opportunity to spend more time with patients3 Spend 100% of your time clinically focused on direct patient care, inclusive of patient-facing time and general administrative time as it relates to direct patient care
Required Qualifications
3 Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine3 Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine3 Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment (or willing to obtain)3 Current, unrestricted DEA license
Preferred Qualifications:
3 Minimum of two+ years of experience3 1+ years of experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients3 Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage.3 Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
