Shift Details: 8:00AM-4:30PM, Mon-Fri (Light Night and Weekend Call)

Position Summary

The Jackson Medical Group is a rapidly growing, multi-specialty network of physicians and specialists serving patients in a variety of specialty care centers across Miami-Dade County. As part of the continued expansion of the Jackson Health System, the Ambulatory Services Division is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to practice at our North Dade location in the Causeway Square Mall. This is a supported practice building opportunity where you'll have the resources to develop your own patient panel.

  • Provides and maintains JHS Standards towards continuous, intensive direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and health care services to JHS outpatients.
  • Primary Care with average daily patient volume of 18 - 20. Patient 18+ years of age
  • Light night and weekend call requirements.

Education

Doctorate degree in Medicine is required.

Experience

Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience.

License/Certification

  • Valid Florida Medical License.
  • DEA and board certification or eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine are required. Other specialty certifications related to specialty are a plus.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
