Full Job Description

Job Summary

Leads the analytical delivery of health activities in value-based care arrangements, including networks and alternative payment models. Responsible for providing value added insights to directly impact outcomes and recommendations on future applications.

Essential Functions

  • All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose:  Inspire health.  Serve with compassion.  Be the difference.

  • Presents and develops analyses performance of value-based populations. Responsible for clearly communicating and visualizing the opportunities/initiatives to customers and monitoring the results

  • Provides actionable analysis to improve cost, quality and outcomes. Recommends metrics and methodology to support improvement.

  • Performs routine audits and analytics for existing programs to validate attribution, quality performance and financial reconciliations to payer reports and vendor tools.

  • Provides monthly report out and document on key statistics and work for populations. Provides financial modelling for contract negotiations and future payment methodologies

  • Works collaboratively with team members on the execution of projects supporting the strategy.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibility

  • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Economics, Public Health or related field of study

  • Experience - Five (5) years of experience

In Lieu Of

  • CPA, MBA, MHA or related Masters degree and three (3) years of experience may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Quantitative and analytical abilities with sound experience in analyses including ROI, cost/benefit, cost savings and in value propositions models.

  • Critical and logical analytical thinking skills

  • Aptitude for troubleshooting and identifying the cause

  • Ability to establish relationships with internal/external customers

  • Healthcare data analytics, payer reimbursement methodologies, or claims analytics knowledge - Preferred
