Job DescriptionCatalyx Services, LLC seeks a Validation Engineer reporting to office in Montgomeryville, PA to prepare various control systems validation documents, including user requirement specifications, functional requirement specifications, and detailed design specifications.
Key Duties:
- Prepare and execute validation protocols and installation qualification protocols.
- Configure, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC. Configure, validate, design, and test DCS.
- Work on a variety of programmable logic controller systems and variety of Distributed Controls Systems (DCS).
- Configure, validate, and test the Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems with the control systems.
- Design, program, test, validate, and maintain process controls and automation systems, including selecting the control system.
- Provide technical specifications for the control system, such as hardware and software specifications.
- Select the networking interface required to connect the control system to the process to be controlled, handling multiple projects concurrently
RequirementsQualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a foreign equivalent and at least three (3) years of experience as an Automation Engineer or a substantially similar position performing all the duties as listed above. Relocation to client sites at various unanticipated client locations throughout the US is possible. Not a position that requires travel for work. Relocation costs not paid.
