Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product design or UX.
- 3 years of experience leading design projects and managing people or teams.

Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in AI assisted workflows for designers with portfolio examples highlighting functional prototypes or shipped work.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, engineers, content strategists and product managers.
- Experience designing for native mobile applications across a variety of device types.
- Experience designing features and shepherding that work through the full life-cycle of design from kickoff through implementation as a Senior level IC and as a front line manager.
- Experience in conversational design, content design, or the design of communications products.

Responsibilities - Drive the development of innovative design solutions to user, product, and business problems.
- Coordinate and grow a design team of UX designers and conversational designers who work together to bring product and conversational design to end users and partners.
- Identify innovation paths for Messages protection across spam, scams, and other privacy-minded areas of interest.
- Advocate the blueprint for conversational AI commerce, designing fluid, adaptive interfaces for LLM-driven consumer interactions.
- Lead ecosystem-wide design standards, including the creation of first-party and third-party Agent Best Practices Playbooks and cross-platform iOS consistency playbooks.
