JOB SPECIFICATION: UX LEADReports to: CISCO

POSITION SUMMARY:The UX Lead is responsible for the user experience across RhythMedix's software products, including clinician-facing web portals, mobile applications, patient-facing applications, clinical reports, and analytics dashboards. This role owns user research, workflow and interaction design, prototyping, and usability, and establishes a shared design system across the product portfolio. The UX Lead works closely with Product and Engineering throughout the product lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- User Research & Usability: Plan and conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing with clinical and operational users. Translate findings into design and workflow improvements.
- Workflow & Interaction Design: Design task flows, information architecture, wireframes, and interaction patterns for web, mobile, and reporting interfaces used in clinical settings.
- Prototyping: Produce interactive prototypes and mockups to validate concepts with stakeholders and users before development begins.
- Design System: Establish and maintain a shared design system, component library, and interaction standards used across all products.
- Data & Dashboard Presentation: Design how clinical and operational data is presented in dashboards and reports.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product on requirements and priorities and with Engineering on implementation, feasibility, and design handoff. Present designs and demos to internal stakeholders.
- Brand Consistency: Apply corporate brand and identity guidelines consistently across the product interfaces.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience: 8+ years in UX or product design roles, with experience designing clinician- or healthcare-professional-facing applications. Enterprise or regulated-industry experience preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Skills: Strong portfolio demonstrating workflow design, prototyping, and design system work. Proficiency with Figma or comparable design and prototyping tools. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for effective collaboration with development teams.
- Miscellaneous: Able to commute to Headquarters in Mount Laurel, New Jersey; position is hybrid and requires a degree of onsite presence.
