The UX Engineer Role. This isn't a traditional product designer role, and it isn't a traditional front-end engineering role either. We're looking for someone who can move seamlessly from customer problems to interaction design to production-ready prototypes - the connective tissue between product strategy, design, and engineering. - Partner with Engineering to validate technical feasibility early and reduce handoff friction
- Help establish and evolve reusable UI patterns, components, and Reality Defender's broader design system
- Advocate for usability, accessibility, and thoughtful interaction design across the platform
- Work alongside Product Managers to define customer experiences before development begins
- Facilitate cross-team alignment by making complex ideas tangible through prototypes and visual storytelling

- Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX design and front-end implementation
- Expertise with Figma and modern prototyping tools
- Experience building interfaces using React, TypeScript, or similar front-end frameworks

- Ability to rapidly move from concept to prototype
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, and comfort in a fast-moving startup environment
