The Work:Accenture is the reinvention partner of choice for the world's leading Utilities. We work with clients across Utilities value chain in generation, transmission & distribution, retail, and trading. As a Utilities Strategy Manager, you will:
• Help clients navigate the energy transition with new business models, sustainability strategies, and market outlooks.
• Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to help clients enter new markets and drive growth.
• Apply Generative and Agentic AI to achieve meaningful results at scale
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on strategy, transformation, and performance topics
• Structure and solve complex problems; manage projects end-to-end and ensure high-quality delivery
• Design and facilitate executive-level workshops; synthesize insights into clear, compelling recommendations
• Identify new value creation opportunities for clients and help convert insight into follow-on work
• Support and mentor junior team members, fostering continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications- 5+ years of professional experience within top-tier management consulting and/or industry experience within the utilities sector
- You have a flair for breaking down problems into logical parts and constructing clear reasoning and analyses, using quantitative analysis methods, statistics & data-driven thinking.
- Knowledge of how power markets work and grasp of market trends, incl. a deep understanding of the Danish/Nordic regulatory environment,
- You have energy and drive, a passion for continuous learning and mastering new topics, and an understanding of how forces like digital and the energy transition will shape the future business landscape.
- You are an effective communicator and a natural at appreciating diverse perspectives and bringing out the best in people
- You have a natural ability for building relationships, as well as the ability to communicate well with different stakeholders both internally and externally in English and in one Nordic language.
- A University Degree is required for this position
Bonus points if:- You have experience in a commercial or technical function in the industry or from a top-tier consultancy.
- You have strong quantitative skills, including familiarity with Excel/VBA , R, and/or Python and their respective data manipulation, statistical modelling, and visualization packages.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
