Job Announcement The City of Chandler Public Works & Utilities Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a
Utilities Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor. The position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.
Who we are looking forOur new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are seeking day-to-day supervision of the Public Works and Utilities maintenance management by using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) systems to plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to maximize uptime and equipment reliability including providing technical guidance, assigning work and training staff.

Minimum qualifications• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Public Administration, Construction Management, or in a related field; and
• 5 years of experience in the operations and/or maintenance of water or wastewater treatment plants (or related system facilities) or electrical or instrumentation in an industrial environment; and
• 3 years of experience using an Enterprise Asset Management System (work order/asset); and
• 2 years of lead or supervisory experience; and
• A valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record; and
• 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification within one year of hire or promotion; and
• ADEQ Grade 3 Water or Wastewater Treatment Certification, a Grade 1 Water Distribution or Wastewater Collections Certification (or combination thereof) within one year of hire or promotion; and
• A Maintenance Management Certification (LCE) within one year of hire or promotion; and
• A Maintenance & Reliability Professional Certification within one year of hire or promotion; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
