The (USA) Technician, Low Voltage, Licensed, is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining various low voltage systems, including security, fire alarms, CCTV, and network cabling. This role ensures system functionality through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while adhering to all relevant regulations and safety standards. The technician collaborates with project teams and communicates effectively with clients to deliver tailored solutions. Commitment to continuous learning and applying industry best practices supports system upgrades and operational excellence, contributing to reliable and efficient service delivery aligned with organizational goals.

The Low Voltage Technician team specializes in installing, maintaining, and repairing systems such as security, fire alarms, CCTV, and network cabling. What you'll do:
  • Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video, and network cabling.
  • Run, terminate, and label cables following project specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform regular system inspections and promptly resolve issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Provide technical support and training to end users on system operation and maintenance.
  • Adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and safety guidelines during installations and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports on system performance and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Evaluate and upgrade existing systems to enhance performance and compliance with standards.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, and network cabling.
  • Ability to run, terminate, and label cables following industry standards and project specifications.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to promptly identify and resolve system issues, minimizing downtime.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing low voltage installations and repairs.

The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 - $63.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
