We are a specialized practice dedicated to serving the individual tax compliance needs of EY's US based partners. Our group offers the benefits of a big four working environment without the associated sales pressures or sales goals. We retain our annuity work and earn new work (newly promoted partners and direct admit partners) by providing exceptional client service to our existing client base.

You'll be an essential part of a team delivering technical, high-quality work to clients. You'll balance your time between multiple tasks, supporting the team in tax return preparation, tax technical research, while building your foundational knowledge. As part of that, you'll need to possess interpersonal skills, be able to absorb and observe, and be flexible in a changing environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to client satisfaction by promptly and effectively providing high quality work products

  • Participating in internal group meetings and working within teams to deliver fully integrated services

  • Actively strengthening your tax knowledge through client assignments and current tax developments

  • Developing and delivering timely, high-quality services and work products

  • Researching tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies

  • Translating complex data from a range of sources into client-ready insights and deliverables

  • Maintaining your reputation in your field by constantly updating and sharing your technical and finest practice knowledge

  • Identifying and reacting to risks and opportunities to improve our services and processes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the confidence to translate complex information into insightful, actionable recommendations.

  • An interest in working in our team-led, leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation for this role is that people will work together in the office an average of two days per week over the course of the year, with teams collaborating in person more frequently as business and team needs require.

  • Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office. A driver's license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.

  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.

  • You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to Dallas, TX, for this position.
