About the team: Walmart's Omni strategy team develops and maintains backend systems that manage replenishment and inventory flow for Walmart and Sam's Club. This engineering group collaborates closely with merchants, suppliers, and product teams to ensure product availability meets customer needs. Combining large-scale data engineering with practical business impact, the team supports services such as curbside pickup and in-home delivery. Leveraging physical store proximity, they enhance speed and convenience, playing a vital role in Walmart's omnichannel capabilities and ongoing innovation. What you'll do: - Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with domain priorities and roadmap milestones.
- Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks to support scalable, secure development and seamless system integration.
- Drive full software development lifecycle across teams, championing DevOps architecture, CI/CD practices, and cloud cost optimization.
- Collaborate with product and data teams to design and deliver AI-integrated software serving millions of users.
- Mentor engineers, promote technical quality, and guide architectural decisions to ensure maintainability and performance.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, track milestones, and align engineering efforts with business objectives.
- Foster continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and operational excellence.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
