Role summary:

The Senior Manager, Merchandising Business Analytics, leads data-driven initiatives to support merchandising strategies and financial decision-making. This role involves analyzing complex data sets, developing forecasts, and providing actionable insights to optimize category performance and assortment strategies. Collaborating cross-functionally, the position drives budget planning, vendor negotiations, and promotional effectiveness while leveraging advanced analytics and visualization tools. The role also includes mentoring team members and ensuring alignment with business objectives to enhance profitability and customer-centric outcomes within a dynamic retail environment.
About the team:

The Tire & Battery Center (Sam's Garage) team drives assortment strategy, item management, supplier partnerships, and operational execution to support automotive services. Collaborating across Merchandising, Suppliers, Technology, Supply Chain, and Field Operations, the team leads cross-functional initiatives from planning to execution. They analyze performance, resolve operational challenges, and identify improvement opportunities to enhance service quality and business outcomes. By aligning priorities and managing accountability, the team ensures consistent execution across clubs, supports associate productivity, and delivers a trusted, high-quality experience that contributes to Sam's Club growth.
What you'll do:
  • Own category assortment, sourcing, and inventory strategies to meet member needs and drive business performance.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and operational initiatives, aligning stakeholders, managing priorities, and ensuring successful execution.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive insights, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve category results.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate business terms, and ensure product availability, distribution efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate across Merchandising, Operations, Supply Chain, Technology, and Marketing while developing team members and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).








Minimum Qualifications...
