Full Job Description
Position Summary...
The (USA) Senior Data Assurance Engineer will lead efforts to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within Walmart's data protection framework. This role involves overseeing data loss prevention operations, conducting risk assessments, and guiding incident response activities. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance information assurance practices, develop and test code solutions, and implement cyber risk mitigation strategies. The engineer will also mentor team members, maintain documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives to safeguard sensitive information and uphold organizational standards.

What you'll do...
  • Provide quality assurance to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) event data.
  • Guide and mentor team members on DLP operations, policies, and investigative tools.
  • Identify and analyze data leak incidents, recommending policy updates and tool enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures related to data security and incident response.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess cyber risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Support coding, testing, and deployment of security solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Document processes, oversee projects, and assist with monthly reporting for the team.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
