Position summary
Help raise the bar on quality and process reliability as a Quality Engineer within Walmart Supply Chain. In this role, you'll lead loss-elimination work using Walmart Performance System (WPS) methods-turning data, observations, and root cause insights into standard work and sustained improvements. You'll partner with DC leaders to reduce variation, strengthen One Best Way execution, and deliver measurable KPI gains.

What you'll do
  • Lead quality loss elimination using WPS tools (5S, RCA, Six Sigma, time/motion studies)
  • Build quality loss profiles, KPI reporting, and gap analyses to guide improvement work
  • Manage execution of top quality-loss projects and identify replication opportunities
  • Create and improve standard work to reduce process variation and prevent deviations
  • Partner with DC leaders to support WPS programs, engagement, and KPI improvements


What you'll bring
  • Experience applying process improvement methods (RCA, 5S, Six Sigma, time/motion) in operations
  • Ability to analyze KPIs, build loss profiles, and translate insights into actions/standard work
  • Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects from problem definition to sustainment
  • Working knowledge of WPS-style operating rhythms and playbook/standard work governance
  • Comfort coaching leaders/associates on continuous improvement expectations and routines

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $120,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
