Job Title: Account Manager - Technical Education

Location(s): Cary, NC

Summary
The Account Manager - Technical Education serves as the primary point of contact for technical education project activities, ensuring the successful execution of customer training programs. This role collaborates with Service Sales, Regional Service Managers (RSMs), Technical Education leadership, and healthcare customers to identify training gaps, improve engineer training compliance, and coordinate educational opportunities that support customer success. The Account Manager oversees customer engagement, training coordination, stakeholder communication, and project execution while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Account Management
  • Serve as the primary Technical Education contact for assigned customer accounts.
  • Manage customer engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, Regional Service Managers, and healthcare customers.
  • Develop account-specific strategies with RSMs to address training gaps and improve compliance.
  • Ensure customers understand available training options and compliance requirements.

Training Coordination
  • Align customer training needs with available educational programs.
  • Identify appropriate technical training based on equipment and system requirements.
  • Coordinate registration for instructor-led, virtual, and online training courses.
  • Monitor enrollment progress and resolve scheduling or registration issues.
  • Participate in project planning and review meetings with Technical Education leadership and RSMs.

Customer Communication
  • Execute customer communication plans in partnership with Regional Service Managers.
  • Conduct outreach to hospitals regarding training opportunities.
  • Communicate training schedules, prerequisites, and registration requirements.
  • Document customer interactions, project activities, and status updates.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Healthcare, or a related field, or five years of relevant professional experience.
