Role summary: As a Dynamic Defense Engineer III, you will play a critical role in advancing cyber risk management by analyzing threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging security challenges. This position involves performing detailed malware analysis, developing architectural solutions, and supporting infrastructure maintenance to enhance system resilience. You will contribute to incident detection, response, and mitigation efforts while collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective cyber defense strategies. Your expertise will support continuous improvement in security practices, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and industry standards to protect business operations and data integrity.
What you'll do: - Conduct comprehensive cyber risk assessments and assist in implementing risk management practices aligned with organizational policies.
- Perform static and dynamic analysis of malicious code to identify threat signatures and malware characteristics.
- Support threat detection and incident response efforts by monitoring, documenting, and reporting cyber incidents according to established protocols.
- Collaborate in defining architectural specifications and applying appropriate patterns to enhance system security and performance.
- Assist in infrastructure maintenance tasks including backups, patch management, and system transaction logging.
- Develop and test code using recommended programming languages to support security solutions and business requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on emerging cyber threats and mitigation strategies to support continuous improvement.
What you'll bring: - Proven expertise in cyber risk assessment, management techniques, and mitigation strategies.
- Strong knowledge of threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Experience performing static and dynamic malware analysis using advanced debugging and monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in coding languages such as SQL, Java, C, and Python for developing and testing security solutions.
- Ability to analyze system architecture and apply appropriate architectural patterns to enhance security and performance.
- Familiarity with infrastructure maintenance, including backups, patch management, and system transaction logging.
- Skilled in cyber incident management, including detection, reporting, categorization, and mitigation of cyber incidents.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
