Role summary:

The (USA) Director, Marketplace, leads the Health and Wellness business team to enhance seller performance and assortment management while driving business growth through data-driven decision making and stakeholder collaboration. This role requires expertise in influencing cross-functional teams, developing assortment strategies, and managing complex negotiations. The Director serves as a trusted advisor, aligning marketplace objectives with broader organizational priorities and leveraging market insights to optimize assortment and seller engagement. Strong communication, analytical skills, and business acumen are essential to deliver impactful solutions that support long-term marketplace success.
About the team:

The Director, Marketplace - Health & Wellness leads a focused team of three associates, driving Walmart's Optical, Health, and Directed Spend programs on the Marketplace platform. This role combines strategic business leadership with hands-on collaboration across merchandising, technology, and product teams to build and scale innovative platform capabilities. The team engages regularly with senior executives, ensuring clear communication and alignment on business priorities. Emphasizing data-driven decision-making and stakeholder partnership, the group fosters a high-impact environment dedicated to launching and growing new marketplace initiatives that deliver measurable value and support Walmart's long-term strategic goals.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
