Role summary:
The (USA) Director, Business Development Sales - DV leads strategic sales planning and execution to drive business growth and maximize return on investment. This role requires advanced financial acumen, negotiation expertise, and the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies. The director influences key stakeholders, develops innovative sales qualification and forecasting methodologies, and fosters collaboration across teams to deliver measurable business value. By leveraging industry knowledge and data-driven insights, this position ensures alignment with organizational objectives while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
About the team:
The Business Development team focuses on driving subscription sales for Walmart’s proprietary customer data platform, Scintilla, targeting Walmart suppliers. This team leverages strong business strategies, sales forecasting, negotiation, financial acumen, and leadership skills to develop and execute effective sales initiatives. Members collaborate to build compelling business cases, forecast market trends, and negotiate agreements that deliver value. The team plays a critical role in aligning sales efforts with organizational goals, ensuring strategic growth and long-term partnerships while maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.

San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00
Chicago, Illinois US-10276: The annual salary range for this position is $121,000.00 - $242,000.00
Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
